New generation chip groove geometries

The chip groove geometry which influences  good chip formation undergoes modification to  minimise contact area, distribute forces evenly and thus reducing heat going on to the insert.    In order to enhance efficiency and improve  total machining process, WIDIA has developed the following new chip groove geometries to cover the demands of various industries.

-22 Geometry

For fine finishing applications with clean cuts under favourable conditions.
